The Pentecostal Assemblies of God (P.A.G.) Kenya has officially commenced Mother's Week 2026, bringing together women from across the country for a special time of worship, biblical teaching, fellowship, and spiritual encouragement.
This year's celebration is anchored on the theme "A Godly Woman" drawn from Titus 2:3–5, emphasizing the biblical calling of women to be examples of faith, integrity, love, and godly influence in their families, churches, and communities.
Speaking at the start of the week, the National Women's Director, Rev. Lydia Besseling Wanjiah (Mama Kenya), encouraged every woman to attend the meetings at their respective assemblies and designated gathering points, noting that Mother's Week provides a valuable opportunity for women to grow together in God's Word and strengthen one another in the faith.
The General Superintendent of P.A.G. Kenya, Bishop Kenneth Adiara, also welcomed the commencement of the conference, observing that a godly woman is the foundation of a godly family, a thriving church, and a transformed nation. He urged women to fully participate in the week's activities, expressing confidence that the gatherings will inspire spiritual renewal and lasting impact.
Mother's Week is being observed simultaneously across P.A.G. Kenya, with women meeting in various locations for services and fellowship centered on God's Word. The church invites all women to take part in this important annual event as they continue to grow in their calling and service to God.
